Continuing trends for the UK restaurant marketing scene into 2014
January 2, 2014
We’d like to wish everyone at Happy New Year from everyone at Captivate Hospitality.
2013 was a great year as we successfully expanded our business into new marketing areas, taking on clients in the hotel sector and developing our service offerings for our restaurant clients.
The UK hospitality industry continues to be an exciting and vibrant place to do business and it seems there’s whiff of confidence in the air. As the economy creeks back into life we’ve seen no let-up of new openings and not just in London.
We are happy to be working with COSMO who’ll be launching a handful of restaurants in the North this year. As they look to become a major player in the European restaurant scene we continue to provide their marketing support, both on and off-line. This year will be a huge milestone for them as their estate grows to 19 units.
2014 is also set to be the year for high-end casual dining. Working with Poulet Rouge and Cattle Grid has been great fun and we look forward to being a part of their journey into the New Year and beyond.
Restaurant marketing continues to move more online as social media and Google develop their platforms. This has changed the shape of SEO and we’ve been working with lots of clients to bring their website offering up to scratch. Traditionally restaurants and independent hotels have been slow to use new technology but we’ve noticed a lot more are starting to sit up and take note of trends in social media and web development.
So here’s to a new year and new challenges. Please get in touch if you would like to discuss your business with us, perhaps we can help you grow in 2014.
